Instructions for Enrolling in a 2015 Off-Exchange Policy with Assurant Health

When Should You Enroll in 2015 Coverage?
Open Enrollment for 2015 plans runs from November 15, 2014 through February 15, 2015. Click here to learn when your coverage will be effective, based upon the date you enroll.
If you are enrolled in a 2014 plan, your current coverage will expire on December 31, 2014. You must enroll in 2015 coverage by December 15, 2014 for your new plan to begin on January 1, 2015 and avoid a gap in coverage.
After February 15, 2015, you will not be able to enroll in 2015 coverage unless you have a qualifying event like change in family status, change in job status, etc.
Note: If you live in Virginia and think you may be eligible for a subsidy (see chart below), you must purchase coverage through the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace to receive the subsidy. Visit www.enrollvirginianow.com to enroll instantly in Marketplace coverage.
