2026 Health Insurance Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for 2026 individual/family health insurance begins on November 1, 2025.
Our office is gearing up for Open Enrollment and we look forward to assisting you! If you worked with us in the past, watch for communications from us via email as things get underway.

Here are some quick tips:
- We work with clients in Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia (DC). See below for state-specific guidance.
- If you purchased health insurance through your state’s exchange in 2025, please be sure you know how to gain access to your account. Locate your username and password and be sure you can log in. If necessary, reset your password now.
- Begin gathering data about your expected household income in 2026. Don’t make any changes in your Marketplace account yet – we need to wait until at least November 1 to enter 2026 data. But it’s never too early to start preparing!
- We are here to answer your questions and appreciate your patience as we manage a heavy volume of emails and calls during this time of year.

Virginia
- Open Enrollment dates: The VA Marketplace has confirmed that open enrollment will run from November 1, 2025 – January 30, 2026.

Maryland
- Open Enrollment dates: We expect MD open enrollment will run from November 1, 2025 – January 15, 2026.

District of Columbia
- Open Enrollment dates: We expect DC open enrollment will run from November 1, 2025 – January 31, 2026.
